Banned Books Giveaway Hop! (INT- Multiple Winners!)

I think this is my favorite giveaway hop of the year, and it is hosted by I Read Banned Books and I am A Reader, Not a Writer.  I absolutely love bringing attention to books that have been challenged or banned!  I think the entire practice is absurd, and with an open mind and proper communication between parents and children - this should never happen.  However, I think we can safely assume that books will always be banned and challenged every year.  Sad, but true.  So, I want to get some of these banned books into your hands!  This year I purchased some items from the ALA (American Library Association - gotta support them!) to giveaway along with some banned books.  I got some copies of the new pamphlet highlighting the 46 books that were banned or challenged in the past year.  So, for this giveaway, I am selecting some titles from this pamphlet that I have read - and winners can choose which book they would like to receive.  (US winners will also get some of the ALA swag - International winners will have the books shipped to you direct from The Book Depository - make sure they ship to you before entering!)  The giveaway runs from RIGHT NOW until October 1st.  Winners will be chosen from all over the globe.  How many winners will there be?  I DON'T KNOW!  More than two winners, I can promise you that.  Can you handle it?

Here are the Banned Book Choices:

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
Push by Sapphire
Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler

Enter below and good luck!  Don't forget to check out all the other fabulous blogs participating in this giveaway hop - the list is below the entry form.

Thanks for the awesome giveaway. I'm finding that I make it a habit to read books that are banned or challenged.

I am surprised that Water for Elephants is a banned book. The book has been a top NY Best Seller since the movie was released in the theaters.

Yes, Water For Elephants was banned in a school district near me (Bedford, NH) for sexual content.

It's crazy that so many books are still being banned. I guess it will always happen but it's so sad to think people feel the need to make the decision of what to read for everyone else.
