First of all, this book is amazing. I very literally could not put it down, and read it in just over two days. I couldn't help myself! This is the kind of thriller that keeps you involved every step of the way, and yet you still feel a little off kilter and teetering on the edge of the truth. I would say that it is almost impossible to wrap your head around what is going on in this book - it gets itself wrapped around you.
I absolutely love unreliable narrators. Christine is perfect in this role; you really aren't sure if you can trust what she is remembering, because she doesn't. She honestly doesn't remember if she is remembering what people have told her, what she has imagined, or if it is paranoia creeping into her consciousness. It is absolutely fascinating to read! Then, as she begins to figure some things out and you see that there really is something amiss in her history and therefore in her present, you cannot help but feel terrified for her. This is simply a book that should not be missed.

This book had one of the most shocking endings of any book I have read. I literally was speechless as I closed the book. Amazing read!
This book sounds fascinating. I love the plot that you described and the main character has interesting qualtities. The cover spooks me and intrigues me. Thanks for sharing! I would love to read this book.

I have a love/hate relationship with books like this ... I LOVE them because they are so good, but I HATE them because I end up with a book hangover from staying up too late to read them. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed this one! Thanks for being on the tour. I'm featuring your review on TLC's Facebook page today.
I saw this one awhile ago at the bookstore but somehow forgot about it (ironically). Going to add it to my library hold list right now. Thanks for the review!
Sounds interesting - I've been meaning to give this one a try for a while. Out of interest, what's the scientific rationale behind Christine walking up without a memory every morning?
Matthew - They call it a specific type of amnesia, very rare, and she is somewhat of a test subject. The cause was head trauma... and that is all I can tell you!
Haha, sounds very mysterious ;) I'm hoping to read it in the next couple of months, so I guess I'll find out then. Did you buy the science of it?
I did buy into it, and it really wasn't that hard given the way the story is laid out. I have no idea if it is truly possible in the manner they describe in the book, but I did not dwell on that.
Probably the best policy - I'm one of those people who dwells on things like that, and lets it spoil the novel for me :s
